News - “Lewis – They walked where no one else had not gone,” says the inscription on the John Lewis’ family monument.

We express our condolences to the many people of the USA for the loss of a notable civil rights activist, Congressman John Lewis. Representative John Lewis fulfilled many key roles in the civil rights movement and took actions to end legalized racial segregation in the United States. He will be remembered as a hero by many. U.S. Rep. John Lewis died at age 80 on July 17 2020. He has been honoured in myriad memorials, Celebration of Life ceremonies and public viewings.

“Lewis – They walked where no one else had not gone,” says the inscription on the Lewis’ family monument. It is a true honour to have been chosen by the family and Mr. Lewis himself, for the development of the central commemoration piece of his wife Mrs. Lilian Miles Lewis and now for himself. Together with our partner Mart Clamp (Clamp Sandblast, Atlanta) we were able to create and install a beautiful composition of glass and granite.

May he and his wife rest in peace, we pray…
